looks great and all, but how does your sub sound? You must have lost a load of bass with a box that small?

Nice install though

No actually it sounds great. The box is the exact right dimensions for this sub. That fiberglass is formed exactly to the trunk giving it a bunch or air space actually.

That's great then.

I'll have a look over the net, for some specs on that sub

Might want to get a grill made also... (damn me and my nerves about stuff slamming into other stuff) Don't disgrace the install with one of those waffley bastards... get a nice custom cut plexi grill or something to that effect.

Don't worry, your not alone in that position. Right now my sub isn't protected, so every time I put something in my trunk I take I don't know how much time to tie everything in place

We are currently trying to locate a grill that will fit over the sub nicely. This was one of the first things i thought of when we desided to drop this in. Just haven't found the right one yet.

Have Bobby Gately custom make you a grill. www.gatelyaudio.com

He could do a pretty sweet 3 diamonds or something. He's the man when it comes to Plexi.

Yeah blaze... i have looked at the eclipse web site. What is your question. If you are still wondering about the box size trust me there is enough air space in the box for this speaker. The guys who fabricated and installed the stuff aren't joking around. They know exactly what they are doing. They are certified master installers. If there wasn't enough room they wouldn't have put the 12 in they would have dropped a 10" in. But is that isn't your question feel free to ask.

Also i don't think you can see it in the picture due to the lighting but the box is actually buil up over the wheel well all the way to the back for the seats to give it extra room in there for air.

Actual, I was asking if you checked their website to see if they had any nice grill for your sub.

I dont know how you'd feel about putting a rockford fosgate grill over that, but I really like this one, and it will keep my bags/etc from smashing into the sub...
