^Is this the one that keeps the steering wheel controls?
And what is the name of their website?

NVM I got the answer I was looking for, I e-mailed metra about the kit and here is what they said.

Matt Calderon [mattc@metra-autosound.com]

The Mitsubishi Lancer dash kit is not out yet.
It will not retain steering wheel controls, but a steering wheel
interface module will. Tell me the make and model of your aftermarket
radio and I will give you a part number for that.

Correct. They have not released it for sale yet. Mitsu doesn't think that this will be a hot selling item so they pulled the R&D for the steering wheel controls. But PAC makes them for all types of aftermarket radios though. They range around $40.

I have preordered 5 kits for my shop and will be one of the first to get them.

i called Metra this morning and the kits are availble for the 08 models. i dont have steering controls so not much to worry about. as for color i was told it is black to match the manufacture. Metra does not sell to the public so they referred me to thier vendor out of Texas, installer.com. price for this kit $29.95 a lot better than $300+ from mitsu. here is the link if anyone is interested.

But has anyone figured out how to install the steering wheel controls yet? Every shop I asked said they didn't know the wiring config. to splice into to get the PAC adaptor to work. Have you had any luck?

I have the Avic-D3, and I got mine from Best Buy.

Too bad they don't know how to install it yet!

Isn't that a TV? I already have one as well, I need the steering wheel interface module so I can keep the steering wheel controls. And I feel you on that because i've had my screen for four months now
