should i use this alarm system?

I got a car alarm system from my sisters bf that he never used. He bought it from crutchfield, and it's a crime gaurd 745i4. It seems to be a pretty good product, but I'm unsure if it really is or not. It come's with the keyless entry feature which I really don't need since I already kinda have it. Here's the link for the one that I have http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SjQjyYq...x?i=514CG745I4 . If I was to have it installed would the factory keyless entry be rendered useless so I can use the alarm system and its keyless entry? I just wanna know what you guys may think about it. Thanks!

when i installed my alarm system, the factory keyless entry was pretty much useless , it works but if i use it instead of the alarm entry, you'll hear the siren go off

Well, it has good reviews... so use it. It does say it has remote lock/unlock, so your factory unit would be useless. But, make sure to bash the sh*t out of the factory remote, 'cuz like depsy said, you can still unlock your car w/it after the fact.
