Headunits .. what ya rolling with?
I just got the panisonic 7300 dvd with a 7 inch screen
i love it plus it has a tv tuner built in. before i had a pioneer
dvd player and it was terrible the first one i got wouldnt even turn on, the second the gears for the screen broke, the third only the dvd player part worked and not the radio so i switched to my panisonic.

Using Eclipse CD 8443 with stock speakers currently, but debating moving to MB Quart components. Already test fit their 1" tweeter, and it fits perfectly on stock bracket with no interference with A-pillar. It's the palcement of the LARGE crossovers with them that is the problem.

Hey there I've been into stereo stuff now for about 7 years and I hve found that Pioneer Headunits are pretty much indestrucable. ANother great headunit is Eclipse they are really powerful and can do everything you could pretty much want cell phone, GPS,dvd,cd, it all depends on the unit you buy. i personally run a Clarion DXZ-925 lil fancy but it does all I need it to and looks good doin it. If you are lookin for a great deck for around 300-350 pioneer can not be beat!
When your driving around, how does these lcd headunits handle the vibration and jerkiness of the stiff ride? Does it sound like its going to break or is it very solid and stays put.
I was worried about the same problem before I bought one but the are very solid. The screen its self doesn't weigh very much so they hold together quite well. Dr Crash will pioneers plan DVD+R and +RW or only -R and -RW? I haven't tryed a minus because nothing in my house will play a -R that I know of.
