i got a 10in mtx sub, thats has an rms at 250, if i got an amp to power that, how good of bass woould i get from it, in a sealed boxed. i dont need to wake the neighbors, i just want some descent bass. or do i need to get 2 subs?

 

It should give ya some added umph!!, but it's not gonna give you a headache anytime soon. If you keep the back seats down You'll get a little more bass in the car.

 

It'll probably be what you are looking for. I had the same thing in my pickup before I got my lancer. MTX 6000 in a sealed box

It had enough thump for me, but granted I was 16 and thought anything was awesome....You'll be satisfied. It'll rattle the trunk a little but you'll definitely be able to hear the bass. Keep us posted on how it works out.
