Need help picking out alarm/starter for 08 Lancer ES

I've got it narrowed down to a couple different brands and models, its going to be either the Viper 5900 or the Compustar Pro P2WSSR or P2W900FMR. I am leaning most towards the Compustar Pro P2W900FMR. What is everyones opinion on this? Also, I started favoring the Viper 5900 but that would mean I would have to have Best Buy install in and I have a rocky past with Best Buy and that whole idea of them touching my new Lancer turns me off. Compustar was a new name to me but the local audio shop highly recommends them. I would really appreciate anyones help with my little dilemma. Thanks in advance!!!

I own the P2W900FMR and have used it for about 3 months now and it's a very good investment for the harsh winters here. The range is really good and it surprises me sometimes when I'm at the mall/grocery place and my car is parked deep in the middle of the parking lots and I still have a signal.

The main features I use and enjoy are the 2 way system which is very useful when you are not anywhere near or in visual range of your car.

The paging system is a neat feature too but the only thing I find it useful for is if you forget your keys in the car you can 'enter' your code to unlock the vehicle.

The security system is good as well, if someone bumps into your car in any way (with a min amount of force which you can set the sensitivity to) you will know of it, I can't remember though if it tells you which door/side was hit.

The vehicle temperature is a very nice feature as well, I usually left my car on for 15-30 mins during the -50C winter we had and it was nice knowing when my car is 'warm' enough for me to comfortably get in.

As well the remote start is pretty standard. (For manual I have to leave it in N and the last door that closes shut will set the remote start, if anything interrupts after you set it and before you start it remotely you'll have to go through the setting up procedure again.)

It's very easy to program through the remote.

Not the most detailed but for what I use it this is my experience with it.
