Replacing the stock SS Package

I recently bought a 2009 GTS with the sun and sound package. I have 2 10" Rockford P3's and an extra amp from one of my other cars and I was wondering:

A) If anyone has successfully replaced the stock Rockford sub?
B) If anyone has successfully replaced the stock Rockford amp?
C) What is the maximum depth of a sub that can be mounted in the stock location?

i suggest doing it the very proper way....A LOT OF WORK! take out absolutely everything and put back in absolutely everything that you want it. i mean taking out seats, disassembling most everything, the works! trust me, it will be way less confusing when installing and if there are ever problems, it will be easier to diagnose.

I was kind of thinking that's what might need to happen. Oh well, I don't really feel like going through the hassle. Thanks anyways.

if you dont want to go through the hassle, then visit a local audio shop, and see if they can just remove everything, and leave all the installing of aftermarket equipment to you. may cost a bit, but they get everything done right, you have no hassle, and they usually have some kind of labor warranty.

The amp is located underneath the driver's seat. That's why it is kind of hard to get to because you have to remove the seat to do anything to it.

I was sort of thinking that but as of right now the only place in the area that does that is a shotty truck shop and Best Buy. I used to work at Best Buy and they aren't really high class installers. (No offense to any who read this)

Dont the side speakers and tweeters run off the amp under the seat? It was like that on my 05 OZ and I just left those speakers hooked up to that amp and removed the stock sub and installed my own subs and amp running independly. It works fine for me.
