I've been to my local mistu dealership twice now, and I still don't have the greatest impression that the sales people totally know about the cars. It just seems like lots of yeses, the usual carsalesman garbage that won't really help in buying a car or understanding it.

So, one of the things I still haven't found a straight answer is whether you can get a 6 CD changer and the navigation package in the 2009 Lancer GTS. I love the idea of the auxilary port and ripping discs up to ~7GB of songs to the HDD, but I'd also love to have multiple CDs, or hell, multiple MP3/WMA CDs.

My question to any owners or any experts of the 09 Lancer GTS, are there GTSes that have both the navigation package and a 6 CD changer or was the carsalesman being an idiot when he said that there were GTSes with these two features? Part of the reason I ask this is that it doesn't make sense to pay more for less CDs. At the same time, I care more about the navigation, considering free AAA maps aren't necessarily my forte. If you could post the max VBR bitrates for both MP3 and WMA, that'd be awesome too.

Another question I have for owners of Lancer GTSes with the nav unit is how the MP3/WMA cds work in the car, if at all. Is it a similar view as to a CD ripped to the HDD? The 07 infiniti M35 (My parent's car) does a great job of showing and viewing the root with folders for the albums, which you can then go into to select individual tracks. If it's anything similar to this, then that would work perfectly. Another feature I was wondering about is if it can play DVDs with MP3/WMA files on it, although I highly doubt it. Also, after doing some searching for the latter most question, please don't confused my request for it I can play DVD video during drive or something. It's exactly as I put it. If you could post the max VBR bitrates for both MP3 and WMA, that'd be awesome too.

So, if anyone can help me out with these questions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

PS. I suppose I should ask this, is invoice ($22519 for nav/sun+sound,CVT) a good price for two 2009 Lancer GTSes bought at the same time? (22 each obviously ) Part of me was looking around these forums, and it sounds as if I might be able to get less than that, especially considering Japanese dealerships are volume, so if two cars are going to be bought, we better get a good deal. Also, this'll be with cash, so no worries on financing.

That's pretty much the feeling I got after reading this site while looking for an answer before posting and using the builder on mitsu's site before I even went to the dealer. Thanks for confirming that the guy was being a total Rtard.

I hope people have answers to the other questions...I do remember someone asking for the DVD specific question as well with no actual answer, tho I suppose both of those will be found after I start playing with the car after I get it...

Good idea. I'll ask one of the guys at the dealership if there's anything they could do (But not the guy who obviously knew nothing of the car except that it had a bigger engine ). I believe this dealership is one of the biggest ones in my area, so if they can reuphulster the seats to leather, they might be able to do something about this...
