Car got broken into :( need alarm
If I were you I wouldnt worry about a remote. What are the chances the person has a knife or gun when you come running out after him. Even if you had the same it would cost your thousands of dollars in lawyor/court fee's , not to mention all your time. Let alone that person might take your life.
Just replace your items you lost and be content with that. Your better off than confronting any theif/vandal.
I have also had 4 cars broken into before , one of the was hit 3 times in 2 months, with a total of 6 windsheilds broken. Believe me I know how pissed you get when this happens.

I want to get thr remote because the lynx 2000 has a built in turbo timer, temp reading for in the car and outside. plus I can at least know whats going on to scare them away if not confront them
I got a CompuStar two way paging system with remote start, turbo timer, and it pages me if I am 1 1/2 miles away. It costed me more than you are probably looking at ($600.00) but is worth it I think.
I am going with this alarm
Good price and comes with a lot of features as well as extra add-ons

don't care for the remote start
Hey could anyone give me some ideas as to which alarm is good.
As the subject states I don't really care much for the remote start feature, if I get a alarm that has that feature can I just not hook it up and only use the rest of the features?
thanks
