I have a 1988 nissan 300 ZX and want to put in a custom audio system. any suggestion on configuration, speakers, sizes, or boxes would be of great help.

 

to find speaker sizes go to www.crutchfield.com type in your car year/make/model and it'll come up with sizes/options. but, once you find prices, go somewhere else to buy the stuff. crutchfield is pretty expensive IMO

i work at best buy.. theres not a lot of shyt u can get there but this is what i got.... 2 12" Rockford Fosgate HE2 powered by a 2 channel 2500 watt amp... i noticed that it rattles the car in front of me when i am at a stop light. lightning audio hits hard but i just hate the fact that it says "the fast and the furious" its so gaay. but u can always cover that if its not for show. or try alpine Type R. u can get them at circut city

 

make sure u stock up on dynamat .... its pretty expensive too...

 

thanks for the info. I have a friend that works at best buy and I went over there the other day, what do you think of the sony X-plod XS-L121P5 12 " subs?????? I want to put two of them in my car but i dont know how good they are. Also, would the Sony XM-D400P5 work with two of them? I have never really messed with car audio so I dont know how to tell if an amp can handle the sub....... and does having 2 make a big diference?
