Question amp to interior speakers?

i dont know if this has been covered before, but i want to amp my interior speakers...i've got this huge amp in my trunk(no subs)..

its mounted to my back seat just chillin and i want to make use of it with my interior speakers. i could use a little kick.

anyone dont it before?? it seems simple enough, but the more i started to think about it, it'd be hard to get all the wiring done right.

well, if you have stock speakers, powering them with an amp will do no good, but i would recommend you replace all 4 with some new ones and you can pump those suckers with some serious power!

what i need to find out is how the wires run through the car, what gauge i should probably use, stuff like that. it would be great if i could get a diagram or something.(maybe even a step by step tutorial)

well, i don't really understand what you're trying to do, but all the wires meet up in the head unit harness for the speakers. if you are trying to hook up the amp, there is a stickied thread on that.

I think the simplest way to explain it is as following...

RCAs from HU to amp. Run the wires under the center console, then under the carpet, under the the rear seat, and finanly it's in the trunk.

Rear speakers are really easy to do. So I'll leave that one up to you.

Front ones are not that hard. Run 2 sets of wires from the amp and make them follow the same path you used for the RCAs. Once behind the deck. Those 2 sets of wires will be hooked to the wiring harness. Make sure you hook them up in the front speakers slots.

Hey kid,
I have two amps in my car, one for the sub and one for the interior speakers, it sounds great! Don't mess with stock, they're a pos. Make sure you have a good h/u to devert all the lows to the sub.

Try and run the wires along one of the sides away from the RCA's. The higher voltages and signals in the output off the amp could bleed over into your RCA cable if it's not shielded extremely well. Same goes for power, keep the RCA away from it. Opposite side of the car is the best.
