Stock Antenna problems/questions...

Ok, I live in MIami, Florida in the city so quality of signal is not the question as other cars I am in have no problems, It seems like just at some random points I get some static and it goes on and off for just a second or two. That gets annoying, what could be causing this? Should I get a stronger anntenna is it the radio? Give me some insight........

i notice it when going past buildings, or a certain car drives by me, each car has its own signal, and sometimes another car interrupts your signal, or like a radio broadcasting tower or anythign alogn those lines in buildings can affect your signal

So what can be changed to stop or prevent that signal problem? The other cars I drive ( Jeep Liberty and 330ci ) don't have that problem, how can I have my lancer do it? I know its a cheap car but, there must be a way to stop that....

not really, unless you want to pay for those sirus or xm radio type things, it just depends on the frequencies that each car operate at, often nicer cars steal our signals :\
