P0243 problems.

I've searched and couldnt find out if there is a way to remove the wastegate solenoid without getting a cel. I seen that some people are just unplugging it and not having a problem. when i do it i get a P0243 on the 2nd ignition cycle everytime. Any ideas?

Could I also just disable FCA bit 15 and FDA bit 2 so I'm not disabling a lot more stuff than needed? Would that even work for what I'm trying to do or is that a incorrect way to go about it? Doesn't matter to me really, I will do it the way you said to if that's the best way. Thanks for the reply.

Bumping this up. Is there a way to disable p0243 without also affecting the other codes such as p0443?

I need to get my car inspected so I cannot have any CEL and all my emmisions related equpipent must be in ready status. Unfortuntely I cannot get my EVAP to ready status which I think may be linked to me trying to disable p0243 by setting FCA Bit 15 to 0.
