I have that code after istalling AVCR, you probably removed factory solenoid like me, I think that trigger the code. I think factory ECU has to see some resistance from solenoid, if it doesn't it trigger code. But I am not sure, I will check it on my car today since code just showed up like 2 hours ago.

You have to keep the factory solenoid electrical plugged in, even when using other boost control, or you will get that CEL.

Do you have to have both solenoid nipples sealed or it doesn't matter.?

Your solenoid might be bad or it just got loose or something. Did you check connection?

I've been getting this too - my car makes no power on top end either. I looked and the wastegate solenoid is completely missing, so that explains the code. Appears previous owner had a MBC and just ripped it out...
