Question Not boosting correct after removel of MBC

Ok i installed some cheap MBC from ebay and it ended up to suck, broke something idk it dident work and everything was hooked up right, so i take it back off and run my vacum lines back the way they were stock. but im only boosting 14 and it wont spike pass that. Before when i was stock it was spiking 19ish an tapering back down to 16ish, what happened? i unplugged my battery and nothing happened.

I have the wastedgate an turbo nipple "t" together running to the stock vacum thing (forgot the name at the moment) and then the other side of it running back to the intake. im sure thats right.

Any clue why i dont have all my power back?

Before i read your post, I was thinking RESTRICTOR PILLS!! haha.. I did the same mistake on my WRX. The restrictor pill is NEEDED for the ecu to manage your boost levels via wastegate actuator and wastegate actuator solenoid. In lamens terms, if you remove the pills the wastegate actuator will open too early the turbo wont build as much boost.

If you dont mind my asking, how did the car run when this happened? did it just act down on power on top end? Did it backfire at all? Im dealing with a car that someone just ripped the MBC out of and never replaced the WG actuator solenoid.. it runs like ****.
