I bought my 09 ralliart with a mbc on it. Since Ive owned it I put a boost gauge in it and it spikes super high. It seems to be running around stock boost 13 to 15 psi when it levels out but it spikes the whole way up to around 25 psi. Does anyone esle running a boost controller have this problem?

 

Do you have a boost pill? I have a boost pill on my car and I'm getting a max psi of around 22-24, so 25psi doesn't sound like it's way out of line if you're running a boost pill setup.

yea stock psi is 19 but with pill its 22-24

 

I read somewhere that the stock boost was 13.3 psi

 

Stock boost is between 18-19psi, and tapers off to around 8-9psi at 6500 rpms. I personally would get rid of the mbc and just use a boost pill + tune. Too many variables to worry about with an mbc with regards to tuning and the sst for my taste... but that's just me.

 

Thats the way Im going is boost pill. Ive all ready ordered the whole stock vaccum hoses assembly from the dealer with the pill inside. Im gonna order the gst boost pill when I get it. Howd u get the gst basemap I was on the website and I dont c anything any where.
