Install complete!

I will post up pictures soon, but my only concern is my mounting my power block in the base of the trunk. I used two self drilling taps, about 1in in length... whats the clearance between the top of the gas tank, and the bottom the trunk? I really hope I didn't hit the top of it

I have the alpine pdx 1.600 powering the 12w6v2-d4
a fosgate p300-1 powering my Infinity Perfect Series 6.1 and my infinity kappa 62.9i
ANL 150A fuse on the main 4gauge power wire
80A on the Alpine 8gauge power wire
60A on the fosgate 8gauge power wire

Line outs on the front and back channels behind the factory HU

And I installed a kill switch for the sub amp, and have it set in the dash in the little switch inserts to the left of the steering wheel... along with my starter kill switch for my remote start.

oh and I rerouted all the crossovers into the door, with some heavy duty velcro, I still have to button her up, but I dont want to turn the system on until I put that inline fuse in on the battery, I still have to vacuum her out, before I power the system up... I dont want any stray wires shorting anything out...

oh I didn't get a good ground, so I basically took two eyes and put them on the end of the ground wires, and just smashed one of the big 1/2 in screws down on it. So right now they are sandwiched into a bracket that holds the back seat in place... I'll have a photo up tonight after work... but over all a real clean install, fairly straight forward... took about 6 hours to do

"The P300-1 is perfect for use as a dedicated subwoofer or center channel amplifier."

should have gotten an actual 4 channel amp so you could get stereo surround sound, and not have all the speakers playing the same exact thing, but everything else sounds sweet! lol

for the ground, you should have just put an 8 gauge ring terminal on each ground for the amp and cap and grounded them to the big 14mm bolts that hold the black seat brackets to the chassis. idk if thats what you are talking about? but smashing the wires under a bolt definitely wont hold, you need crimp on ring terminals.....

well I may just sell that amp and get another amp lol but its cool, it gets pretty ****ing loud, I'm excited to tune it... as for smashing the wires no I didn't i have little gold plated eyes on the end of the grounds... the two eyes and stacked and then the bracket is sitting on top of them between the chassis and the bottom the bracket (good visual?) then the big bolt is cranked down on top of the bracket... I could get the little eye big enough to fit the bolt through... I might just buy the ALPINE PDX-4.100 and sell the p300-1

ohhh ok i see what you did haha, they make 8 ga ring terminals with big holes in the eyes lol i recommend you do that.....the way you have it now, they might come out after a while, and thats a bad ground....2 PDX amps would be sick!!

I'll look in to it, I am sure they'll eventually wiggle out, but i felt that I put enough torque on the bracket to keep it from moving... I could just find another bolt to wire it too also haha

I guess I could bore out the holes but I need a beefy drill bit, all I have are small cosmetic bits for doing detail work.
