Don't have pics, but I installed mine with all the original hardware. My radio came with a metal sleeve but I didn't need it so you should be good to go. The hardest part was shoving the wires back in far enough to get the new unit bolted up

Good luck

Mine came with a pigtail, but if it's anything like hard-wiring the speakers, all you'll need is scissors and electrical tape (wire cutter tool will help expose the wire from behind the rubber, but isn't necessary). I didn't solder the wires either, don't know if that would be recommended though by an expert

yea i know how to do it i did that in my truck just taped it up but just didnt know if the pigtail caused the room issue with the wires. ive been messing with systems for a while but these lancers seem to be picky sometimes.

No bracket is needed. EIther use the stock mounts if it lines up or in my case my kenwood has a bracket that slides in and you bend the tabs to lock it in place. Let me know if you need any help

ok ill look at it tues cause i just got the wire harness in. looks like it might work without a cage but the factory bolts are to big and it only lines up with one hole on either side of the cd player, which should be ok. ill post the results if there are any lol
