Ok i just bought polk audio speakers for my car and i know for the rear they need the mounting adapter which comes with it unfortunately they dont fit a 03 lancer now heres the question! Where should i buy adapters from that will work for it? crutchfield? i have read mixed reviews about them working and not working and also do i need adapters for the front? i know these are dumb questions but im disabled and it will save me a lot of pain to know this thanks

 

good question but u may want to call the place where u purchased the speakers if not get other speakers that will definitely fit lol hope this helps

 

For 02 es I used 6.5 o2 in the rear without any spacers nor adapters and I got a perfect drop in the front I purchased 6.5 o2 speakers that have neodymium magnets which push out the same power as the regular ones but I bought those so that I wouldn't have to purchase spacers because in the front because of the glass you need spacers or a small magnet speakers around my way in NYC they were 50 for the regular ones and 80 for the neodymium ones I'm not really sure about the same pricing in your area I know amazon has the neodymium ones for 82 but I didn't see the normal ones
