I'd stay away from clarion...they dont sound the best...the only real selling features they have are:

-Multiple display colors
-Sub control on front

I'd go with a pioneer...or an RF deck...

They sound good...you wont get the color changing stuff with them tho...

But, in most systems a deck is a deck is a deck, as long as its not rampage (lols)

RF HU? no way, the suck. pioneer all the way. clarion is not user friendly, the menus will get on your nerves after a while.

I am a huge Clarion Fan, i have had 3 so far, and i think they are quailty.. My Dad put me onto Clarion ( he's been a service centre for them, and he never sees them compared to a brand you have said)..

What's wrong with the RF decks (new ones only)?

They sound good
They have good features
They never break (I've sold them for 2 years and never had one come back!!!)

Really, what's wrong with them?
