Question Help!!!

K my bro was help puttin in a system in the oz last night...everything was fine and almost finished...suddenly the dome light, radio, clock go dead. the door locks will work when the car is on..everything else is getting power, the radio even lights up...now we checked the fuses and they looked fine...i searched a little for the answer to this problem but after reviewing the posts there is no answer. is there a connection or wires that connect thoses someone behind the head unit that we could have disconnected?? HELP!!

I all that went out, I almost sure you blew a fuse.
Check the fuse that's in one of the yellow older in your fuse box.
Are you getting power to your HU straight from the battery or from the harness?

Every single time I work on my system, I blow that fuse at least 2 times. I spent almost 20$ on fuses so far

Does anyone here disconnect the neg. terminal when they do this ****? Thats 99% of the problem right there.

Disconnect the battery

yea ne time u work on nething electrical ur suppost to disconnect the neg terminal but im too lazy to do it too, but that has to be a blown fuse, i blow a fuse everytime i pull my radio out, make sure ur check both fuse boxes, the one under the hood and the one behinde the change holder in the driver side

we did check the fuses but this happened around 10 pm last night so wasnt the best light, yea to lazy to unhook it from the battery...it is also the factory hu that might also be the problem

Almost gaurantee it's a fuse underneath the hood, don't just look at it either, they can look okay sometimes, but really be blown, test with a dm.

yeah there are like 2 or 3 fuse boxes... u know that right... and everybody if ur too lazy/ stupid to unhook the battery dont make a post about how somethin doesnt work.
