Nice i had twin momo 12's in my trunk for the longest time with Bazooka amps. How do you like the POLK amps? I heard they run hot too?

hey thats a pretty clean setup. i have a fockford trf2212 12'' sub, PPI pcx5800 5ch amp, MBquart pce216 6.5'' 2-way speakers front/rear, and an eclipse cd5423 head unit. i love my system, but when rockford launched their new product the POWER, im starting to ignore my system. im planning to sell my sub as soon as i can check out the performance of the POWER. if im satisfied, i might sell my sub. i love my sub. i have been a fan of rockford for many years, and also alpine 4 head units, quarts/boston acoustics for speakers, rockford/JL for subs, and alpine/rockford/kicker/PPI for amps. i also hear good things bout polks. i heard their speakers and they sounded great, but i havent heard of their subs

I was at fry's and they were discounting all their polk stuff, got both amps and both subs for 500 new. They sound awesome, I used to run all fosgate, which imo hit harder, but polk bass is cleaner, imo. Yes, the amps run hot but not like my fosgates did, i swear you could of cooked an egg on my rf power amp. Overall, i'm definatley happy with polk, and they look sweet as hell too. Thanks for the comments guys, i'll post more pics when the trunk is done.
