Audio Upgrade

Ok guys, here's my issue, I just upgraded all my audio components. Everything is perfectly fine except for the fact that I have the dreaded dimming lights issue due to power draw from my amp. It's only 500 watts rms but with the settings on the HU and amp set where I want them, the dimming is pretty noticeable. I adjusted everything so you can barely notice them dim, but that's not good enough for me, I can't listen to it how I want too. My battery is about 2 years old, now I know about the Optima Yellow Top, but I could pick up a 140 amp alternator for about $100 less. My current alt. is only 90 amps, which I'm guessing is the issue since I had a significantly lower wattage amp hooked up and no issues with dimming. I'm trying to avoid sinking a bunch of money into this if at all possible, since 500 watts rms isn't really that much. Now I do know if I upgrade the alt. I need to change the fusible link on the pos. cable, so along with any advice, would anyone know where I could find one that's 150 amps? I've been looking online and really can't find much, most are OEM's that are rated at 120 amps.
