I've never used CT Sounds before so hopefully someone else can comment, but I have used Infinity's & never had any complaints.

As far as which is best in sound? Every person hears things in a slightly different way. What sounds great to me may sound terrible to you because of our personal preference. I've always recommended to go in & listen to them for yourself if it's at all possible.

I've been happy with my alpine type e's. I have mine amp'ed and it makes them sound like having a mini sub but they do not have to be amp'ed and way way better than the paper stock units.

5.25" coax in my car now, but I've used different sizes in different cars. I started with just running things off the deck power, and then upgraded to amps as I could afford it.

The S and the R you should really have them amp'd in my opinion but the E should be fine through the power of the headunit based on the specs. I only amp'd mine because I found a really good price on ebay and it was a good range for the type E and a little underrated for the type S.

I have heard of it and its a nice option and cleaner to install than wiring a massive amp. I'd recommend if you decide to match it with an alpine headunit and type e speakers. It wouldn't be enough power for the type S or R though.
