Where are your speakers crossover points? Did you check your grounds and your RCA connections?

I personally haven't had this problem with any subs I've installed in my lancer.

did you run your RCA's and your power wire on the same side of the car? that will do it also.
but you shouldn't get alternator whine on subs, unless like spl said, your crossover point is really high. Put it to around 80hz or lower.

I agree with the guy on the previous post, I turned my crossover point up to 90 and the whining noise took over my speakers while playing on low volume levels.

Simple fix: turned your amps down a bit!

I had the same problem. I grounded my deck factory ground. it still happens, but I have 8 speakers, 3 amps and 3 subs, soo...I have other issues, like the alt not pushing the power I need. I hadded a capacitor and it helped a lot, I guess the alt just don't push the juice, any other alternators out there for the car? I need to install my CD changer, DVD, TV's, GPS, etc.

where are your RCA's ran? if they are ran down the center console to the back that is why it whines. the radio is directly above processor in the car, move the RCA's away the computer
