I am wanting to custom mount my 2 10" subs and amp in the trunk of my 02 OZ Lancer and was wondering if any body had any suggestions for a design that includes keeping the spare. I had thought about building the trunk up three inches and recessing the amp and a custom tool box in those 3 inches.

I built two boxes to go on either side trunk. They fit behind the wheel well and then I built an amp rack into my rear deck so its tucked away also. I should have pics soon. E mail me if you want to see them. Now all that I have to do is kill the rattling

 

did you built those boxes sealed?

 

they would've most likely had to have been sealed. the average ported box takes up about 2 cubic feet after all displacement (that's internal).

 

They are sealed I used the Mclass because they only need .75cuft so I made myne .85 to get a little deeper sound
