Which sub should I get? Kicker, MTX, JL Audio?

I have about $100 to spend on a subwoofer. I am going to build a custom enclosure for the trunk and I plan on just having one sub back there. Probably a 10". My question is which sub to get? Which will give me the deepest and best souding bass for my money? I have researched some brands like

Kicker
MTX
JL Audio (10W6v2,10W3v2)

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Do you know what the RMS power rating for that is? And what brand is that exactly?

I dun think L7 or JL 6 or 7 is 100 dollars. Bro get the MTX thunder 6000 10". Its rated 500 watts max and is one of the best sounding subs I have heard/felt. Its the best considering price/weightofmagnet/sound.

here is link

You can spend a few bucks more and get the 8000, which has a considerably larger magnet but is rated 800 max, and would need a bigger amp.

You can get it for around 125-150.00. The L7 is a kicker sub and is 600 rms. It will be well worth it trust me.

The kicker looks way nice, but a little too much money. That MTX is looking pretty nice.

SK Lancer - I see that you have the 10W3v2. Does it put out deep, loud bass? How much did it cost you? I still haven't decided yet.

I've read good things about all three of those brands.

Kicker and JL are by far the competitors right now. but i have to say that JL is better right now. Kicker L7 is what i got, but i wouldve got the JL. MTX is great and all, but just a joke compared to kicker and JL

Unfortunately, I'm on a budget. I don't plan on ever entering any shows or anything, I just want some good, clean, deeeeeeep, nice bass. I know JL can deliver that, but I was wondering if there was a cheaper alternative that can compare.

i hit a 132. on monday with my new Earthquake 10" Sub (didnt push it that much) compaired to the 131. I hit on the weekend with my buddies (also 1 10") or the 129.4 I hit with the fosgate I blew.

There not that expensive and good. But out of the list you gave I'd say use the JL Audio 10" you wont be as happy with the MTX and I find that Kicker subs work best in Bandpasses.

My friends have the JLw3v2 and it sounds really really nice. Very very deep, and it feels crazy.
