Same here. In fact, the 3 10w6's I bought 8 years ago are still in commission in my g/f's car, still pounding away.

I wish they made them still...the v2's are good and all, but hella power hungry...those old W6's were sooo efficient...

I also agree with all the other JL users If you want quality and not just boom I would go with the W3's they are the most efficient JL sub. Get one or two 10" and run about 200 watts to each of them they are clean crisp and have an exellent sound. Also use a sealed box. I have 3 JL w3's in my car and let me tell you they sound AWESOME!!! JL also makes very clean amps. With the speaker setup you have running 2 of them would be perfect you would get plenty of bass in a well ballanced clean running system.

here is my setup if you want to see a pic.

Takes up about half my trunk if your only running 2 then might get away with a little less space but not a whole lot depends on how you have your amps mounted

I used to like Fosgate back before there was so much to chose from, but now I think you can do better for the money. Never was a Sony fan...just my opinion though. I would go with a single 10" that can handle 200 or 300 W. A JL 10W3 would be perfect b/c you can run it in a sealed box about .75 to .85 cubic ft. that would allow you to keep everything under the rear deck, still leaving most of your trunk open. Or you could fiberglass in opposing rear corners and have your sub in one corner and your amp in the other. Look around on here...you'll see a few cars with that setup. Get a quality amp to go with a W3 and you'll be set...JL amps are great but a bit pricey. Good luck...keep us posted.

I would have to disagree sony makes some of the worst sound quality subs I ever heard and fosgate is good for power but not all that great when it comes to clean signal or crisp sound. Ive ran both in previous cars and was dissapointed.

WHy does every one have a hard on here for JL audio???

Every thing they make is boring except for the w7 which is a 1/4 miles reducing machine in its self.

There are lots of great companies out there, I prefer Diamond subs to the JL just because if you compare the wo's or even the w3's, the Diamond CM3 subs is so much better built and it is less expensive than the JL's, It has 400 watt RMS power, DVC, spring loaded binding posts that are attached to a very strong steel frame, rubber surrounds, (JL still uses that crappy foam that tears so easy) and a very stiff composite cone. Give them a try, you won't be upset with your choice!!!
