My Custom sub box and amp rack done!

Here it is thanks to the help of my co-worker Chris S. at Magnolia Audio Video in Bellevue Washington we were able to get my gear which has been sitting for a while into the lancer and at the same time make it so I had maximum use of my trunk (*warning don’t do this if you don’t have AAA or AARP for towing *)

Here are the details as of know it will chg (subs and front speaker wise when I get my new MB Quart gear)

Deck – KDCX969
Front Speakers – Stock
Rear – Infinity 605cs Components
Amps - Diamond D5 600.1 and Diamond D5600.4
Subs – Diamond Audio CM312D4
70sq ft of Dynamat Extreme

I am changing the subs out to MB QUART PWE302 so I can run a stable 2ohm load instead of the unstable 1ohm I am running right now. I haven’t decided on what fronts but im thinking either MB Quart or diamond hex series. I will be posting pics of just the trunk progress for now later I will do custom a pillars or kick pods for the front depends mainly on what speakers I do

ummm what happened to the left side in the 3rd set of pics? is that some sort of cover over the left side amp and speaker?

have you weighed this equipment to see how much it adds to the car?

*edit - it looks great!

Your install looks great! in fact, your entire Lancer is looking sweet!! I have ran MB Quart religiously in the past...just switched to Diamond Audio to try something different. I honestly like them just as well. So I'd say whatever you can get the best deal on...you'll be happy either way.

hey did you make a box too? or is it just a false floor cause i was think of doing something like that but with one ten an amp and capacitor. like the sub would only be w/the box and everything else in the false floor, sunken
