E-manage Ultimate

Has anyone put one of the new Greddy E-manage Ultimates on there car yet??? It looks like it would do wonders for our cars. Ive heard our cars with the regular e-manage learn over the settings. Is that true?

i heard that emanage of any sort in the lancer fries coil packs over time. any evidence/personal experience to prove this from long term users? sounded kind of sketchy to me...something to research though before you buy it...if i can find the article or thread i read on it i will be sure to post it....until then it's just hearsay

they put out and update to stop that... ive had the blue on my car for about 2-4 months now and everything is peachy. except that i need to give the car a finer tune (make rpm intervals smaller) to extract every lil bit out of it.

Pack frying was mostly a result of folks trying to use the plug timing harness. as 03 said, though, that was fixed in a release that came out last tear or earlier this year.

eM-U is supposed to not work as well as advertised with our Karmann Vortex MAS. Get a regular blue eManage, the last blue firmware (don't bother with gold) and a REAL GReddy support tool (and latop )and you'll be good to go.
