To be safe... the wideband is defenetly a good thing to have. If you do not have a wideband you have to tune on the conservative side of thing. In order to connect the piggy to your laptop you also need a 9pin Serial cable available at any store where they sell computer part.

basically what i want to do for now is just have the base map that its on now, then have a second map that runs on 87 octane gas (i can do that right?) that gets better gas mileage with less power for my 3 hour trips home every now and then. So i guess i need to save for that wideband as well then.

If you use the map posted here, you use it at your own risk.

And let me know if you like it

Has anyone tried this yet? Could i run this program with a version 2 piggyback?

V1 maps mesure in vacuum setting. v2 measures in voltage setting. Maps are very different. Use piggytech section. That should help a bit.

Rock is correct. Ver1 and Ver2 use different signal. Hence why there is no Vaccum Line on the Ver2. The map posted is for Ver1.

yea version one is based on RPM vs. vacuum. RPM vs. Voltage is v2. there is a bunch of good info on RRM's site that explains it all. you should read that before even thinking about the software
