Noobish Question

I looked around and wasn't able to find an answer, so I am now asking. Is it possible to use the RRM PB V2 and an Apexi SAFC-II or is it redundent to use the two?

Redundent.

SAFC modifies fuel value with RPM value
Piggyback Ver.1 modifies fuel value with RPM/Vaccum

Redundant.

Having two piggybacks would probably cause problems as both would either compete to alter signals to and from the ECU or would stack and overcorrect each otehr.

Opinions are biased on that one. If the SAFC can also alter timing, then SAFC would be better. If it doesn't they're fairly equal except in price.

Install and be done - Piggy
Install and tune tune tune - SAFC

SAFC will give better gains, as it will be custom tuned to your car. But tuning ain't cheap.

If you want something to install and enjoy, call RRM.

What makes you think SAFC is easier?

You can tune it simply (add fuel, subtract fuel), but you still need a wideband and a dyno for proper tuning. And some datalogging software would be a good idea too.

Ain't any harder than any other a/f controller. I've never tuned a thing in my life, got on the Piggy bandwagon and find it a piece of cake.

In all fairness though, you'll really only NEED the WBO2 for tuning, so if you're not street tuning then the WBO2 service provided by any good shop with its dyno tuning services should suffice. If you plan on tuning yourself then you'll want your own WBO2.

Agreed. If you want to tune your-self, you'll need a Wideband or stick to a conservative map.
