But think about it this way, your lungs represent your engine. A straw represents your intake piping. You put that huge black thing at the end that works sometimes, and not as efficient. That's the same as sticking a small pump at the tip of your straw when you're trying to drink water.
get a MAF adapter from autozone, find a shorter tube to use, and get a decent filter eg. K&N
put the new shorter tube on the throttle body, put the MAF on the tube, put the adapter on the MAF, put the filter on the adapter.
and you want a roof scoop about an inch in front of the intake.
to reset the ECU.
disconnect the negative battery cable, press the brake a few times to clear the charge.
let it sit for like 10-15 mins
reconnect the battery, start the car up and let it run idle for about 10-15 mins.
then drive it around, never taking it above 3k rpm. After about 15 mins of driving you should be good to go
this is all to let the ECU relearn the intake. So do that after you've repleced the intake.

You seem like a good intentioned kid, and evolutionm is a great place to learn anything and everything regarding the 4g94, but please LEARN how to spell certain things. I know a lot of people will tear anyone with grammar like yours apart, and trust me. You dont want people to start tearing into you. Before you know it none of your questions get answered

Sorry I’ll start using Microsoft word to type then paste it over I’m not only a bad typist but I’m also dyslexic so I appreciate your advice, shoot I gust had eight corrections in this sentence.
Well how about it, I removed the p.o.s. Part shortened the intake and ran a feeder hose from the front grill I hollowed out the honeycomb and mounted a funnel scoop behind the honeycomb here’s a top shot, after I reset the e.c.u she’s running grate!!!!!
