RoadRace should have never went with their second version. They should have stayed with the first one.

Have you contacted RRM about this? I assume they'd try to fix it or make you a satisfied customer one way or another...

I should note that I fixed most of my performance problems by changing the output settings. For some season they keep changing.

We can help you if you contact me. Maybe it is the piggy but maybe not. So far worst thing has been release of the software. So many people geek with it. Blaze, would know from all his play that if you do not record settting right or download and save file right you screw things up. What happens then? People Blame the PIGGY, THE PIGGY when it is really the customer palying with tune.. Anyway not always the case but we see it a lot. Even as Lancer get older, vacuum leaks etc.... idle problem get blamed on the piggyback instead of the crack vacuum hoses under the hood.

We will be open Monday. Just ask for ROB.

You know more than everybody else the second piggy back has given way more issues to everyone than anything else you have sold before. And that was even BEFORE the R4 software was released. Everybody, and every shop do a mistake every once in a while. I think the release of Piggy Version 2 was a mistake. You may think differently, I don't mind and respect that. But personnaly, I think it was the worse move RoadRace ever made so far.

Anyhow... I'm not on this thread for a fight. If you can resolve that guy's problem, that'd be great.

No fight from me. but early Setup options were the problem. After that was resolved it was solid on autos, 5 speeds, 02s-06s. Now it get a worse rap than it deserves cause people will plug their electric toothbrush into (piggy)them and then wonder why their cars don't work. Point is Most guys do not need software, they are happy. Other guys wanting it like you did can get it separately. Thus we will prolly go back to no software unless people want it separately.

I had a trusted shop tune my car with a wideband. The car still runs 10's and 11's AFR's throughout the powerband on the base tune. Tuning it out to 12.5-13 gave the car even more umph over the base tune. The idle is perfectly fine as of right now, the only thing is the car's CEL is reading I think something to the effect of lean on bank 2. We have hooked it up to a wideband several times and the car is running stoich. I really don't want to have to yank the piggy out and send it back and get it re installed but I am glad you all are offering to do so. I have checked all of the output settings and they are what they should be. Any more suggestions? Would a bad O2 sensor show any other signs than a CEL? Thanks. BTW, we have checked for vaccum links found nothing :/
Also, I am changing the title of this thread because after figuring out there was a stupid little problem with my electrical system 99% of the problems have gone away. This piggyback works very nice, no rough idle and gives the car tremendous power. I can't wait to put a Header/IM on my car and really start maximizing its NA potential.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIGGYBACK V2

Chris

When you re-mapped the piggy you most likely did a backup copy of RRM's original map. So just upload the backup copy and that will bring you back to RRM's original settings.
