update-i was bored during my auto's class today so i got my car and used this 2,000 dollar scan tool my teacher has. came up again as a misfire in igniter 1. so i individually tested each igniter and everything was ok. so thanks for everyones advice and ill post when the light goes off and its fully "learned"

Its been 8 days and my idle is getting a little better. i still have the CEL. shouldnt the PB have relearned by now. just wondering. any feedback would be great

I see your not the only person with this problem, i see others with the exact same problem, it is weird, maybe you should p.m or talk to Rock, he might have some insight, i wish you luck, must be discouraging,

yeah it is, i hear a bunch of great things about the PB and i get one for a good price and bam, something goes wrong. dont get me wrong RRM is an amazing company when it comes to lancers. im just frusterated. Pm Rock today still waiting for his responce.
hopefully i can get this figured out soon

I had mine fore about a month and the idle got a little better but even after changing to the latest software from RRM the car would buck like crazy every now and then at stop lights and the like. and my CEL never shut off always a missfire code. I kinda wish RRM would offer a reflash. Hell I don't see why they can't make a base flash using the ECUflash that is going on in the tuning board and just offer either replacements or ship in your ecu to get flashed. I would be all over that!

changing the plugs won't take off the cel but it will improve the idle.

Why not go and fill up with some top grade fuel, go get the codes cleared and see if that changes anything. You migt have a piggy that needs better fuel.

update- Rock i got your pm. called and someone that anwered the phone told me just to check the connections. i did and realized that one was loose, i redid all the connections and as of now i have no problems, its been two days and no check engine light. usually i would get it the day after. that must have done it. how long should i take untill i feel the difference?

Give it a couple days, maybe a couple hundred miles for full effect. The car's ECM has to learn the new stuff.
