The piggy is by no means a HP gainer. Remember that. You added 5% tq across the powerband. Do you realize how difficult it is to "feel" 5% tq?? You should notice that going into 2nd gear is def. more torquey. You should be able to break 2nd gear loose A LOT easier. You will see the gains in the MPG, which is what you wanted. Once you add the exhaust, intake, and pulley, you will "feel" a little more power with the increased MPG.

as a stand alone the piggy is by far not worth it as of now for me. but maybe once the pully, intake and exhuast plays a role maybe, so i'll get bak on that one once i install my intake and pully. Im just statin my opinion maybe cause i don't drive hard i will not notice the gain but gas milage on the ecu average is the same. I also made sure after ur post to reset the ecu and i recheck all my connections for a ultra tight connections and its a A+ on my part. But i will solder when i move into my new house. Remember im not bashing on this piggy in no way, im tryign to give valuable data and opinon to other guys on the forums who are weary about these things. once i intall intake and pully i will have my pay pal address open for donation due to imma have my car dyno'd and my pockets are pretty dry i will keep the forum updated.

just so you know. im watchin' this thread with a watchful-eye

im very interested in what you have to say about the piggy and i'd also like to know what gains you experience once you've thrown in the pulley and intake.

i myself have the pulley and intake, im now heavily considering the piggy. this thing would literally pay for itself for me anyways, seeing as i live in Cali. (gas is $$$$$$$$ here )

exactly bro, i understand exactly where your coming from. I did not want to pay 450 for somethign that would do nothign which i did anyways lol, so i just had to try for myself, I can't make to much of a judgement as of yet cause its only been 2days and it was pouring rain this morning. I live in jersey and all the jersey cars have the pvez engine that you cali guys have as well. ( WHICH SUCKS!!!!)

But like i said so far i've not seen any improvement on a pure stock eclipse that would make this mod any bit worth 450 dollars. I haven't tried out the intake or pully as i have not recieved yet so i can't judge them as well. All in due time.

By the way the instructions could have been printed much clearer. They looked like absolute ****. scribble scrabbly in my eyez. I had a tough time reading it untill i redid the instructions and was able to be able to read much easier, the explantion of the instructions are great but just how they are litteraly written is horrible. ( RRM please try to get Instructions printed from a pc i highly recommend it )

If you are going by the digital readout thing on the dash, don't. That thing fluctuates more than a womans mood swings. Track it for you first full tanks. Take note of the actuall car milage when you fill u and the gallons (just print a receipt). Then at the next fillup do your math. Its been t days bro, you aren't going to see it that soon. Wait 2 fillups before you give an good opinion.

If it true that you havn't gained any tq or MPG then you are the very FIRST that has experienced this.

Other mods don't really make the difference. The piggy is the item changing the car's A/F curves.

Honestly, give it some time. And if you don't have consistent stock numbers, how can you say the piggy hasn't helped?

Yes, RRM is an offshoot of RRE (which specializes in 4G63s - the Evo and Eclipse, etc.)

Reviews. Positive or negative, it's good to have information available. And if you have negative feelings about your piggy, don't hesitate to contact RRM and see if they can work with you to troubleshoot.

ofcourse, thats y imma give it about couple more weeks if i so no improvement i will take it 1 step future and soder the connections if i still don't get nothing, then idk? Because RRM states that each unit is check that it is properly working and tune for our specific car before printing a ups shipping label. So i have confiendence its not a bad chip. but i don't think its a bad connection either. So time will tell its not like it effects the car in a bad way so i can wait
