its somewhat slow because its drive by wire. if it were a regular cable, it would open instantaneously since its connected straight to a physical cable. because its electronic, there's always that very very slight delay between when the pedal makes contact and when the signal reaches the motor for the valve in the TB to open. Honestly, I'd rather have a cable system instead of drive by wire. It would be soooo much better. There would also be no "lag" if you were showing off your car or something and revving it! I noticed that if im in nuetral and just slam the gas, there is a big lag from idle to about 3,000 RPM....

solution=sprint booster

ive had one for a few months now, it clips inbetween the wiring harness and your gas pedal and improves the response and acceleration nicely, something to take a look at

actually I just went and googled it, and I cant find any for s, but the ones I did find, (Honda, Acura, VW, BWM, Audi, Chevy, and some others) were over $300!!! awesome idea, but way too expensive. it may be cheaper just to buy a bicycle brake line and attatch that to the pedal and TB! lol

I thought Sprint Booster was the brand

all sprint booster really does is opening up ur throttle from 10% to 40% isnt it?

i would really like 2 the difference with and without, cause the vids that iv seen is a 08 Civic FD2 with spring booster and 08 lancer without, and obviously the FD2 would win regardless

paired with a cold air and pulley its a wicked combo
it does open the throttle up more, which is getting at what a cable is like, the harder you push the more it opens, not opening as slow as the computer tells it to
i would do a vid but i dont have a cam, and its a mission doin all that stuff,
based on the opinion of me and a few others who have it and have tested it, the reviews are all good

ya, price is stupid, but hey, not everything is as cheap as we would like

and ya, g needs to give that back, lol
