PZEV Reflash

When I was at my dealer getting the oil changed today, I was talking to one of the guys about the differences of PZEV and FED. Of course he had never heard about it . but he said that they could try a factory reflash with which is most likely FED configured since we dont use PZEV in Ohio.

Does anyone know if this would actually work or effect anything? Would it cause it to stop communicating with the sensor in the exhaust manifold cat? Is the PZEV ECU configuration even different from the FED? Ive read on here that they are but never really had a 100% confirmation on that.

I know the best thing to do would be to just get a WORKS reflash or something similar, but I dont want to get that just yet.

Doesnt seem like anyone knows. I'm just going to have WORKS do it once I get a header/exhaust put on.
