So ive been emailing back and fourth with this dealer in PA, and he gave me a good price quote for a GTS but after doing some more research i came to find that the GTS in PA is PZEV meaning it only produces 142 hp. THe reason iam getting a GTS is for the added hp. He emails me back saying the GTS 2009 is rated at 168 hp and 162 ft torque. Which doesnt make sense bc PA has the PZEV version of the car. So my question is how do i check that it isnt PZEV?

if its a 2009 4b12 engine it doenst come witha PZEV variation.. only the 2.0L 4b11 comes with the PZEV version

 

Are you sure because when i click trims and accesories on mitsubishi cars website it says PZEV GTS Rates at 142 hp

 

just make sure u ask them if its the 4b12 engine and get it in writing if u really want it lol a friend of mine was told all 09's come with the 4b12 but its only the 2009 GTS that comes with the 4b12 2.4L so he ended up with a 2009 ES 2.0 PZEV.. lol

 

Lol that sucks... so i got my GTS today its really nice i like it alot my first 5 speed manual and it is awesome. Some quick questions though.
-What are the best settings for listening to music (i listen to hiphop)
-Can someone post the settings they use
-When i hook my Iphone through the AUX jack how do i get it so i can change songs through the steering wheel
-How do i get the name of songs to appear using the AUX connection.

 

Here are some answers to your questions:

--The settings of the music you'll just have to play with to figure out what sounds best to YOU.
--You can not control your Iphone thru the Aux jack. All the Aux jack is a way for the music to play thru your car. Think of the aux jack as your headphones. That's really all it is.
--Same answer as above. The song info is not able to play on the screen. It's strictly just music that will go through.

Thanks for the answers that is a bummer though that i cant control the iPhone is there any other way to control the iPhone?

 

Nope...not right now. Maybe someday PAC parts or peripheral will make a module that will work with the factory headunit so you can plug your Ipod in and have it work thru the headunit like most of us want it to.

I thought there was a part out in Japan that controls iPods through the stock Navigation unit in the 08+lancers and outlanders. I cant seem to find it though, but its supposed to use the jack that looks like an S Video cable in the back.
