Lean under boost!!
Ok guys, I ended up using roadspikes big maps rom and after a few weeks of trying to tune, I developed a valvetrain tick that would come and go. I just couldn't figure out what it was but one day my car just died lol. Ended up snapping the timing belt 😅. Well I eventually put a new belt on and prayed there was no damage but unfortunately that isn't the case. I'm now in the process of getting the motor ready to pull the head off and see what kind of damage it has. Motor has about 150k miles, which I think is pretty good considering I put the turbo on when it was at 80k and have always driven her hard. The timing belt was changed at 60-70k miles so I guess that's my fault for not doing it at 120k... Oops lol. I'm still debating on if I should build the motor with forged internals or not or just fix what's broken. How's everybody's lancers running? Miles?
So an update, I ended up rebuilding my motor with forged internals. Also I installed a 501 maf and omg why didn't I do this to begin with... The car runs so much better now and has so much more tuning precision. Anyone putting a power adder on their lancer needs to at least put a 501 or even a 399 evo maf on it. Or maybe convert to speed density. On a side note, I ordered a 14b turbo to put on her to give me a more usable powerband. Anyone familiar with the max output of a 14b turbo?

not much past 250hp I would say...I ran 8psi out of a 14b on my 2.4L MIVEC, and it stopped making power around 5300rpm...power was around 220whp. You should use at least a 16g on a 2.0L...the 14b is pretty small...spools very quick and is a blast to drive in short bursts, but the power falls off quickly at the top end...I've seen people run 18psi out of a 14b, seems to work, but it's not efficient...
