Bad alternator???

Bad alternator???

ive killed 2 batterys i think my alternator is bad any one else have this problem?

bring it to the dealer and get it checked out. a while ago, for some reason my cars dash screen would stay on and there was no way I could shut it off and it drained my battery twice. i would turn the car off, lock it, etc., just as you normally would, and then try and look for any lights that are still on. if so, take it to the dealer.

ive brought it to the dealership twise and they mis diagnosed me bolth times i could swear its my alternator so i mean its really bothering me but i need to get this problem fixed i am late to school at least twice a week because of this on going problem.... i mean they gave me a BRAND NEW BATTERY but that died in a WEEK!!!!!!!!

Check out the starter also. And do all the things yitzac1990 said also. The car could also have a alternator fuse. Bad ground wire. Bad terminal wires. Honestly the dealership should have already fixed the problem upon going there. Have them do a battery test to check for the load and alternator output.

they did a load test on my car and the battery responded fine as well as the altenrnator the was pushin out 14 when the minimum is 13 i believe i am going to test my battery tonight and then i will recharge it and if the problem persists i wil bring it to the dealership because they do the same stuff i can do myself...... i just dont see how a brand new car could already have gone through 2 brand new batteries........ but thanks for the feedback

ok so after a while i mitsu finally found the problem my ecu wasnt properly programed from the factory so it wasnt recognizing the handsfree system but the ecu knew something was attatched and needing power but couldnt figure out what it was so kept running checks on id there fore using power while car was off resulting in dead batteries
