if i remember correct a post of Evosouls on the subject a while back was talking about guys pushing decent boosted CVTs on the lancers over there (correct me if im wrong evo_soul)

Confirmed. But D mode operation was not recommended due to dynamic gear changes under hard driving. Generates heat and stresses the belt and related components.

Upgraded CVT fluid is recommended. Redline or Eneos will do. And a Rad cooling additive that promotes better cooling.

After a few conversations of alternative oil were cited. 0w30 oil

+1 im curious of this also. theres a guy on lancertuners who boosted his CVT, he later stopped and took it off. the only thing he said is "it was staring to break the transmission" i have no idea what he meant by that but the thread got locked, so im curious to know what they are doing different/better. or if they're CVTs are different over there.
