Those wanting to perform a 482 MAF swap on a non-turbo Lancer, you can use the values shown here, from a 2005 Eclipse GTS, as a starting point for your Lancer's ROM:

You can see that the values for the 482 MAF are sort of in between the values for the 2.4L 4-cylinder non-turbo 501 4G64 Eclipse MAF and the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo'd 399 Evo MAF. To get this MAF to work on a non-turbo Lancer, proper datalogging and tuning will be required to adapt it to your individual engine setup.
Those with turbo'd Lancers performing this swap will see an easier transition as the HP rating and airflow of the engine the 482 MAF came from is pretty similar to that of a turbo'd Lancer.

If your Lancer is turbo'd and you are opting to swap to an Evo 399 MAF, you can use the values from a 2003 Evo, shown below, as a starting point for your Lancer's ROM:

Values shown above for the 482 MAF can also be used as a starting point for Lancers if the Evo's 399 MAF values gives your engine idling issues.
Same steps and changes in EcuFlash apply for this MAF swap.

ok so i just switched all the values to the 482 maf and the idle lean out a bit but im still super rich. it also made the car super hard to keep running while driving.
so right now im swapping it back to the stock 399 because i can at least drive that, it just wont idle worth a crap.
do you think i need to do a hybrid from the 482 or even the 501 just to get it to idle? it drives fine just no idle.

Copy the values for a 501 MAF (or take my 501 MAF values that are more aggressive up top) and start from there. The 4G64 engine is like the 4G94 engine enough to let the values work right. From there you can adjust the MAF scaling to get your car dialed in higher in the powerband. Using the 399 MAF values directly isn't the best idea since they are made for the 4G63. You'll find your best tune with values extrapolated between the 501 and 399.
Quick question - did you have your engine tuned for 440's and stock MAF or 501 MAF or did you install both the 440's and 399 MAF at the same time?

i tuned the car for the 440's with the 501maf originally.
so even tho i have the 399 in the car now, start with the 501 scalings and up it from there to bring it into the powerband?

Correct. I wouldn't recommend messing with the lower Hz values though, just mid to upper where the airflow will have higher velocity.

so with all the values of the 399 just too much i take it for the non evo lancer to deal with?

So a little off subject but right now I have all the stock 399 maf settings and my latencys adjusted, my car idles and drives fine but I am hitting loads like I have the evo ecu in. Highest of 158?? Is this due to the maf settings I have? This is causing me to go wayyyyyy rich (below 10) when I first hit the throttle. Then closer to redline I get the closer my afrs get to the 11.5

Ok this was my thoughts too. Hopefully my 03 ecu I purchased will be here early in the week. Until then I will leave well enough alone since I cant tune load that high anyways. No knock so all I am really doing is wasting ALOT of gas when going into boost lol

tried both your values and the stock 501 values and it idles a tad better but the driveablitly has gone wacko. like on the base 501 it will go super lean to THEN coming back out and into normal values on the wideband and i experienced that as well with your values. for driveablity standpoint the 399 is the way to go but the idle isnt there.
