I need help to make a difinition of my rom files. i Have a N\A Lancer 2009 from canada (Quebec City) whit 5 speed manual trany and i instale ralliart 2009 turbo kit but the engine always CEL tork limite and have rev cut aprox at 4000RMP. for now i controle my fuel and timing whit an AEM FIC. Cant any budy can help me to find de good XML file Thanks a lot everybody.

Nice to see another turbo lancer has shown up in Canada!

The route you actually want to go with tuning is running an Evolution X GSR '08 definition and base rom as well as an Evo X 3-bar MAP sensor. This will eliminate all of the issues with torque limiters, fuel cuts and more. This is what I am running in my car and it's flawless! Let me know if you need any more information, the ROM flashes directly onto our ECU, but you need the 3-bar MAP sensor to run it properly.

 

Thxs a lot carvs tomorow morning a go buy a 3 bar map sensor and try it for sure and did i need a particular rom and xml file or a juste have find a good rom and xml and modify the rom id for my rom id

 

You could try TephraXMOD V1. It works for boosted Lancers with Evo X ROM

 

You won't need to modify your rom ID, at least i didn't have to. If you go to goldenevo.com, download the 52680015 base, which is the 2008 Evo X GSR MT base rom. From there, find the definition file (the xml) online for that ROM (I googled it, I forgot where I found mine) and you're all set to go!

Once you reflash you ecu, your ECUFlash should look something like this:



As for tuning, I took mine to Magnus to get it professionally done, but if you can do it yourself, follow what I have posted and you will have no problems at all!

PS. If you have the 2.4L 4B12 motor and you are using a Ralliart turbo, you will need to upgrade it to hold the boost, the turbo is too small for the engine. If you have the 2.0L 4B11, then you should be fine
PPS. Your engine will throw a CEL for the camshaft position sensor. You will need to change your exhaust cam actuator to resolve this issue as our lancers use a different one than the Evo X

what do you want to talk about the exhaust cam actuator? the exhaust controle valve or de exhaust cam sensor becose the cam sensor is the same number from de SE to Evo x.

 

It's not that cam sensor, it's the actuator if I'm not mistaken. It may be the control valve, I can't remember correctly. Is the car running?

 

ok thx yes thats work good whit the evo x rom but just change the cam sensor and de chek light go on for cam sensor B but tomorow a call for a controle valve and should work and a last question what do you do for the boost selenoid we have a code for thats to thanks a lot again for your help!

 

I didn't have a code come up for boost solenoid, I had the waste gate solenoid code come up, but that went away with the MAP sensor. Let me know if the actuator solves the engine code!

 

ok its probably becose i run whit my oem map sensor I should receive this week and where do you buy your actuator the only place i find one is at the mitsubhishi dealer and he tel me its about 500$

 

u need the MAP sensor, also u will have the cel light , just because of a code for the evox cams , u need to add a sensor or something like that , i cant remember
