help with disable

Hello im currently running a evo x rom 52680015 rom and need to disable two codes since they dont pertain to my 08 lancer gts. I have codes p0098 and p0365. I'm having idling issues ( very slight mind you ) mainly due to the air intake temp sensor # 2. The lancer base does not use a second sensor therefore its not running porper air fuel ratio. The second code is the intake camshaft sensor which i recently installed evo x stock cams and just need to swap out the base lancer sensor for the evo x which i have. If anybody could help disable these two codes i would seriously be thankful and would gladly donate to the cause.

i can probably do 0098 easy enough.

365 might be a bit more tricky, I would need to look.

but I guess the real Question is why dont you just tune the gts ROM instead of an Evo ROM?

tried. The issues i had are after the boost kicked in. The map sensor would read high, so i swapped out the map for a evo x and it would read low. So the car would lean out something bad and i gave up. I thought about p0098 intake temp circuit high. Would it be easier to just install a second intake temp sensor and run wires to the ecu? The lancer gts does not use empty slots 97 and 98. if its as simple as running two wires to the ecu then i could. I found a gm ait and pigtail for $20. The p0365 i'm lost on. it appears the evo x and lancer share the same sensor. So unless mine was damaged some how or another i dont know if it could work without being disabled. If you do happen to spend the time and make up those disables i would gladly dontate some cash to you for your time!

thanks for the reply and please let me know if you do decide to invest time that way i can compensate you for going out of your way to help me.

Ill fix P0098 first

Can you please log MUT46 to make sure you are getting 0 or 5volts.

Then do this:

52680022:
<table name="P0098 Disable 0xEA -> 0x100" category="Misc" address="546a0" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>

tephra that worked out just great! Cel light is still on but for the p0365 cam sensor. I took the sensor out and it tested fine according to the mitsubishi service manual. Hopefully you are able to come up with a disable for that one too...Also need your paypal for a donation my friend!!

ok it removes the CEL, but I think it might still rely on that sensor.

i will do some more digging a bit later...

i would prefer to just disable the sensor rather than say that 5v is ok..

my paypal is in my sig

Thanks again! How would i go about disabling the sensor itself? Also when you say log mut46 what exactly do you mean? Sorry for noob question.

Look at your MUT table. Look at the value stored in row 4, column 6. You should see 808653 (for ROM 526800xx). Slap a 23 in front of it and log it in EvoScan. That makes 23808653.

If your MUT table is defined correctly, MUT 0D will be 804575. That is true for every single Evo X ROM that I've seen, including RalliArts, N/A Lancers, Boosted Lancers, GSR's, and MR's... from around the world.

Did either of you figure out the disable for the cam angle sensor? I have run into the same problem. Or is what Golden posted the solution? Sorry, I am new to all of this.
