02 Lancer OZ ecu tune help

I just finished putting a 16g turbo on my 4G94 lancer oz and now I need some help please, if anyone has a base ecu program for this, so we can start from there and adjust as needed, it'd greatly be appreciated. Right now i still have stock everything else on it, I wanna run it and make sure everything works no leaks & turbo runs good before i add the bigger injectors and pump(which i already have). Any suggested tunes(that your proud of ill give all props to the respected person/s) & parts for the tune, also any suggested mods is appreciated, respected, and taken into consideration.

You're gonna come acrossed more people that are willing to send you a ROM if you go ahead and put the injectors and fuel pump in. You have 440s or what size injectors? What MAF you plan to run

I have no problem sending you my ROM as well if needed....but only if your lancer is an automatic tranny...I've sent mine to a few on here as well...but they were auto's as well. And yes, we need to know what boost level your running and what injectors as well as if your going to run an EVO MAF, Stock MAF or Speed Density. Most here run wrx 440's, Mine is scaled and running 560's, Speed Density and 13 pounds of boost...So give a full list of your setup and I'm sure one of us can accommodate your request. But remember...even if one of us potentially ends up having the same full on setup as you are running...You will be uploading that ROM at your own risk due to the condition of your car and its engine internals...how well its been maintained prior to your build...

EVO 550s
EVO 8 wastegate
Stock Lancer OZ MAF
5-spd trans
I understand fellas, thanks for the help. I planned on using if the lancer stock MAF, I was under the impression from another tech that it will work. If not i will replace with the necessary parts. As for the boost pressure and wastegate, its a stock evo turbo & wastegate so whatever boost that produces 7-10? I think

It's not so much about boost, it's about airflow. The lancer MAF is not compatible enough with the Evo 8 ROM you'll use to tune with. It will work, but it will be a terrible compromise, and be very difficult to tune.

You are going to need the evo maf if you're using the stock evo wastegate and turbo if you want your car to run better at +-10 psi

Not necessarily. A 501 Galant MAF will work (currently using one), but it will require MUCH retuning.

Wow...stock evolution wastegate. You are putting a ton of faith in you motor...stock wastegate is between 17 and 20 psi if I remember right...that's a ton of boost to start your car out with. Most of us start out with 6 to 10 psi to see how well our internals will hold up and especially if your gonna be the one tuning...One little misshap with that much boost right out the gate and boom goes your motor!!! If you can get your hands on a forge adjustable wastegate..do it. And get a 6 psi spring or maybe a 10 psi spring.

Thats not true at all man...the evo wastegate is at 10-12 psi....a stock evo might be boosting at 17-20 but thats because of the electronic boost controller controlled by the ecu...
