I have an actron elite which runs about $250, but there's one that's about $70 that has graphing ability. As far as the TPS adjustment, you'd loosen the mounting bolts and rotate the sensor, but you need a volt meter or multimeter hooked up to it to check the voltage value. With key on engine off and throttle closed the value should be 335-935 mV, but the adjustment is only needed if your having issues idle wise. 02mod posted the procedure in the thread he mentioned a few posts back.

Not me, I needed something that was a little more advanced than those so I could freeze frame and graph data real time. Mine is listed in the post just above yours.

As far as I know evoscan does work as a scan tool and a data logger as well, the only reason I went with the scan tool I got is I needed it for domestics and imports. Quite a few of my coworkers and friends ask me to do repairs for them so I needed something more flexible, the after market scan tools are more oriented for troubleshooting and not tuning like evoscan. In regard to tuning basics I don't think there are many people(if even any) on here who tuned the stock motor, most went turbo and tuned out of necessity.

I'm down in Cortez. I do have a slightly modified stock map if you'd like me to send it to you? Just pm me with your email. I managed to get 3hp with it. Lol

Bad idle/stalling engine diagnostic tip

Issue resolved, but when I first picked up my '02 OZ, the harmonic balancer was wobbling. If all else fails, check for wobble. The CPS circuit is made into the lower timing cover. If the balancer wobbles too much, it will momentarily ground out on every revolution, killing the motor without blowing the fuse it's on. It will eventually blow fuses, but at first, it will run you in circles.

In other news, I'm looking for tuner help, also. Installing a custom ram air intake along with the 4g93 ported IM mod and a modified restrictor plate on the MAF and I want to get a way to tune it. Nobody local can do it, unless there's a nice guy around Fayetteville, NC who'd be willing to help.

Probably flogging a dead horse on this thread, so my bad if I am. Search results in the threads aren't too easy to navigate on my phone.

Buy a tactrix cable and tune it yourself. For the modifications you're doing. It wouldn't be very difficult to tune it yourself and it would be a good learning experience. Would also make you more comfortable tuning the car if you ever decide to turbo it. Not really worth the $300-$400 for a professional tune. You'll only see a couple hp gain.

^^+1 Thanks, 02mod. I know where I can find the tables for the MAF smoothing and adjustments, so that's helps. Did your mods affect your highway fuel economy very much at all after tuning?
