Bought my Lancer a year ago before i actually enjoyed the car scene. Now i wish i bought something with more power. Now the question is should i boost it and upgrade the engine or pull an engine from another car and build it. Im not looking or more than 250 hp. for the best price. My lack of knowledge on turbos and engine builds is little to none. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Wow this is exactly me right now same car too. So far ive read up on the engines of the ES and of the evos and it sounds like if you want a turbo you'll have to put in some stonger internals on your engine (crank, piston rods and im sure theres more) so it can hold up to the boost. Also i highlt doubt the tranny will hold for too long. Are you going to use this as a daily driver?
