Gathering Parts. Top end. Help?!?!

I'm planning on resealing my valves on my G94. I cannot find to much replacement parts Springs, Retainers, Guides/Slide, Ect.... Would it be bad to just use my old OEM parts and just reseal the valves? How should I go about this? Has anyone on here found aftermarket parts for the valves? any help would be appreciated.

Also anyone have any cool tools they made to help them with the removal of the springs? or should i just hit the nearest auto-store and rent one.

if the valves are not bent, just get a valve job done...no point in aftermarket valves and springs unless you plan on making BIG power...like more than 400hp.

what I use to remove valves is a large C-clamp, with a socket with the same O.D. as the spring retainer, welded to the pad on the end of the screw part (could be brazed, soldered, or glued, jb welded etc.). The clamp must be big enough to reach the face of the valve, and the spring retainer without touching or interfering with the head...you'll need to cut a window in the side of the socket to remove and install the locks on the retainer...or you could just rent one...that would be easier...

Thank you so much! Pretty much the conclusion me and my father came too. I plan to try and get close to 250hp. Just a fun project. Thank you again!

250hp is reasonable for a stock 4g94 engine, as long as it was taken care of...I would use ARP head studs though. and it sure as heck won't be fuel efficient if your foot is heavy...just remember, racing is for the track.
