So I have a 2012 lancer SE, 2.4L, 4B12, with the CVT. I have been very disappointed when researching about my transmission, I’m sure you know why. Until I came across a man that has been successfully running .8 boost with his CVT for the past 2 years. They claim they have a tuner that tunes their car in a way to keep the CVT safe. I don’t expect big power, I just want to make my daily even more enjoyable. Now, I will not be putting a turbo in my car, I would much rather get a ralliart if I go that route. But I am definitely considering bolt ons now. I already have a straight pipe with an aftermarket muffler. I also have an open air intake. My next mod would be my intake manifold, but I don’t want to purchase one that isn’t compatible with my engine. What manifold would work? Also, where can I look to get it tuned. I live in VA. Please do not tell me to just get a ralliart or an evo, my insurance would not like for me to get an evo, and I already planned on getting a ralliart. This is just something I would like to venture into for the meantime.
